While buying mlm leads may seem like an excellent choice at first, it can get pretty expensive in the long run. Truthfully most people who buy mlm leads will not close the leads they buy right off the bat. Unless you’re an excellent closer that can close sales, you shouldn’t even think about or want to buy mlm leads.

The catch is that that ezine newsletter or solo ad is strictly dedicated to what the advertiser is advertising without anything else in the contents of the email. It’s strictly what the advertiser is advertising. Period!

A real life example would be if I bought a solo ad (ezine newsletter) that promoted my mlm company or home based business. I would promote my offer the best as I could by setting up a capture page or squeeze page. I would put a little snippet of my offering in my advertisement (solo ad). If people are interested in what I’m offering I would give them the option to opt-in with their name and email address to learn more about the offering. You can either offer your mlm business opportunity up front or you can lead with a product and have them opt-in to your email list. That Solo Ad you’ve just purchased if done correctly can yield you a substantial amount of targeted leads. After opting in to your email list, you can set up a time to contact them or put your contact info and have them contact you. Nonetheless, it’s far from cold calling leads that you bought. Still want to buy  mlm leads? Once you master techniques like this you’ll never want to buy mlm leads again.

Blasting a solo ad to an ezine with a few hundred or even thousands of subscribers can nab you your very own highly targeted leads to then follow up and work with. This is a highly advantageous strategy because there is no selling involved. If this was sent to a network marketing related ezine you’re guaranteed a few hundred leads, at least. The important factor you have to keep in mind is that the ezine you wish to advertise in must be of reputable character. Choosing a trusty ezine newsletter is a skill that can be learned. If you’re not diligent in choosing the right ezine you’re wasting money. When you buy mlm leads it’s like choosing the wrong ezine to advertise in. You’ll lose money in both so be diligent and choose your ezine directory wisely.

Once you’ve generated your leads, what you do with the leads you’ve generated is really up to you from that point. You can build a relationship with them through your emails or you can promote your business to them using an online video presentation of your company. Make sure to leave your contact info or vice versa so you can touch base with them. There are tons of ways to generate your own mlm leads and if you bought leads before you shouldn’t buy mlm leads until you try this strategy out for yourself.

There are many other ways to generate your own leads for your mlm business but if you still want to buy mlm leads then go for it. I’m not hindering you but instead giving you other options to choose from. I do highly recommend that you learn the skills to generate your own leads rather than buying mlm leads because of its lasting effect on your network marketing business. Your bought leads once done cannot be replaced easily. You’ll have to continue buying mlm leads and that can get taxing both financially and mentally.  On the other hand, learning skills to generate leads can reap long lasting rewards. Should you buy MLM leads to build your business?  It is a question you will see answered many different ways if you do a search about it on the Internet.  I have a strong opinion about whether you should buy MLM leads, and the answer is YES . . . and NO.

When you are first starting out in your business, it is a fantastic idea to buy MLM leads.  Doing so when your business is new is a good strategy because it allows you to test out your marketing system on some less than perfect leads.

Before you buy any leads, though, there are a few things you absolutely need to do.  You must have a system in place so that you can monetize any leads that do opt in to your list.  Will you take them to a sales page?  A call?  A webinar?  You need to know the answer to this before you buy any leads.

In other words, if you buy leads and some of them convert to prospects on your list, what are you planning to do with them?  If you haven’t already determined how you will monetize them, then you are wasting your time AND your money buying leads. Once you have a system in place, then by all means buy some MLM leads and use that list of leads to practice your skill set and your system.

After you’ve done that, though, I would not recommend you continue to buy MLM leads.  The main reason why is that dialing purchased MLM leads is terribly inefficient.

At this point, you are much better to generate your own leads than to buy MLM leads.  You need to have a long-term perspective, and from a long-term perspective you want to generate your own leads.  When you generate your own leads (instead of buying leads), you position yourself to be the hunted instead of the hunter.  You always want to having people chasing you instead of you chasing people.
