Is Herbalife a Worthwhile Company to Work With?
By Frank Wilmink
These are questions that many people ask and are looking for answers to, so let us look into the company and analyse it.
Firstly let’s determine what a scam is. Dictionaries define a scam as ‘a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation, or business scheme.’ You have probably heard of the Nigerian email scam. It is something that is designed to cheat people out of their hard earned money. Others are plainly deceptive like an email from your bank informing you that your security has been violated and you need to log into your account and change your details. These are all scams but Herbalife is no scam.
A short time ago I was encouraged to join Herbalife with the view of making more income. So I did some research and found a lot of talk on forums and articles suggesting that a Herbalife scam did exist. But upon further investigation it was found that the article writers had either misunderstood the principles of business or just failed to follow a simple system.
Herbalife started business in 1980 by Mark Hughes, and is still a thriving business today after nearly 30 years and has been listed on the New York stock exchange. It has annual gross sales in excess of $3.5 billion with 1.8 million distributors in about 66 countries. The company sells all kinds of vitamins, nutritional supplements including protein bars, shakes, weight loss products, and meal replacements. Does all this add up to indicate that Herbalife is a worthwhile company and that it is not a scam? Herbalife is not a scam.
However let’s not rest there. There is suggestion that distributors are being sucked dry. With any business, there are start up costs and Herbalife is no different to most other MLM companies in that there are those initial expenses that are required to get your business moving. A joining fee of around $100 or so is not too much to expect to have to pay. There are fast-start packages but all within most people’s means. There is minimal risk with this business due to the fact that you are not opening a conventional ‘store’ where you would have to rent, shop fittings etc. to pay.
So I think you would agree with me that Herbalife is a worthwhile company to work with, they have excellent products, have been in business for a fair length of time and sell products worldwide that customers need. The claim that Herbalife is a scam is an unjust statement and those advertising this fact are not doing the MLM business correctly. So before you make a decision on joining this or any MLM company, do your research and read ‘into’ the article to see what the writers’ agenda is.
I am not involved with Herbalife but I show people like you how to succeed in any MLM or network marketing using the biggest resource available to you and that is the internet. Harness these skills and you will have people wanting to join your team, rather than you searching for leads.
